brand spanking new
so this week in the shop the postman could hardly hold his bag because it was full of lovely brand spanking new stuff… and we hope you agree, its all really quite lovely,firstly we have these long legged overalls in 4 different colours and with a retro style rainbow print.
and then we also got these beautifull classic dresses and body suits, all made from organic cotton ,and with a very small polka dot print, and the pictures do not do them justice as they feel so nice and soft to touch and the print gives them a lovely texture.
all of these are now in the shop and on the website waiting to be loved. i cant wait to see what the postman brings this week. ? as long as its not bills….
i like to sleep in a bed
steven here…hello, so its festival time and up and down the country people are gathering together their tents and sleeping bags, stocking up on biscuits and toilet rolls and heading of to set up camp in the middle of a muddy field with thousands of other music lovers. not me though, im staying home, sleeping in a bed and watching celebrity masterchef….but to celebrate all things music and festivals we made our window display suitably rock and roll…
we looked at it through a childs eye and knew that whilst some kids engage in underage drinking, our customers drink excessive amounts of fizzy pop and milk. and play music on their soft guitars..
and our customers dont like getting muddy so keep their clothes off the floor and hang them neatly on a line away from grime and dirt.and we like to think that our mini festival go’ers do all this just at the bottom of their garden.

the swinging 60s is this weekend…
so this weekend the whole carnaby street area is holding a swinging 60s carnaby festival. celebrating the 60s with shopping, activities and live music from bands and DJs, some shops are hoding their own events with in store attractions, here at carry me home we have got out our best selling beatles t shirt and have created a festival style window display, that we have called glastonbaby.
and we have got more amazing dresses from minimod and some incredible soft toy guitars from the greatfull thread, who have just delivered us some fab cases for the toys.. so your little one can carry their guitar in style…
, so dont hesitate to go anywhere else this weekend, the sun will be out and the mini skirts will be short.. i have already seen the start of the decorations along carnaby street so its looking like a fun weekend.. more info here at the carnaby website…
shes a south london girl now
steven here, hello… so the boss has gone and done it and has crossed the river and moved sarf landon…init…to semi posh clapham… and i know she has been feeling the strain, as any off us know its a stressfull thing packing up years of belongings and deciding what to keep and what to chuck…
and i know gayle is like me and keeps more than chucks… so this blog whilst short and sweet, is just to wish gayle and katie lots of fun times and many nights of laughter in their new palace..
